I have never been big on cooking full meals or baking but I do want to create healthy eating habits for my son, Joshua. He did not have sugar until he was a year old. Yes, he ate natural sugar found in fruits but I avoided processed sugar like the plague! When I started to introduce foods to him that weren't in puree form (when he was around 6-7 months), I thought that blueberry banana muffins would be an easy breakfast or snack that still included some fruit.
This recipe makes about 12 mini muffins. I usually store 6 in the fridge and 6 in the freezer. They are only good for a few days so if you can't eat them all quickly, then freeze them instead.
Remember to always keep an eye on your baby when they're eating!!
